wireless broadband 2350 router

I have a pc and just purchased a wireless laptop and 2350 wireless router. i am having a lot of problems setting up the router. It won't let me configure the router, I acn't get to my.router or 192.168.2.1 on internet explorer. I went to ipconfig /all and it came up IP address 68.41.155.116; Default Gateway 68.41.152.1; DNS Servers 68.42.244.12,68.87.64.196, 68.87.66.196. I've tried all of the restarting, rebooting etc. that I've read about on the message boards and still nothing. HELP

Wrong.  Unless your ISP has login and protocol settings, things should have worked out of the box.  You can always reset the router to defaults as explained in the manual.  Do you have it wired as I asked - your config/ all info tells me your computer is connected to the ISP, not the router.

You do have the 2350s WAN or Internet port connected to your cable or DSL modem and the notebook wired to a LAN connector right?  Make things like that then power the modem, then the router, then the notebook.  See what happens then.

How is your PC connected to the network?  From the IP address you give for the PC, it looks like it is connected directly to the broadband modem.  Note that for your network to work, the PC must be connected to one of the LAN ports on the router and the modem must be connected by ethernet cable to the WAN port on the router.  Once these connections are made, the network must be reset by turning off the modem, the router and the computers.  The modem must be turned on first, then, after waiting a few minutes, the router is turned on next, and finally the computers.   To configure the wireless connection, you should access the router through the computer that is wired by ethernet cable to the router.

Hi People, I am trying to set up a friends Wireless 2350 Broadband Router WRTA-108GD, it was set up ok, but all of a sudden it has stopped working. I decide to reset the router to reconfigure his set up, and now it keeps asking me for the user name and password to log in to set it up from a reset, the documentation supplied does not provide me with the default log in and password. Can any please help, thanks in advance. Regards Bob.
