Wireless card driver setting

Question

I have an inspiron 6400 with vista home, had to change the router ch to 11 from 6 for connection drops, is there a setting in driver prop's page where i should also change the ch to 11?

You should not have to change the channel on the network adapter.  It should autotically change to the correct channel for connecting to your network.  This is essential since you may in the future want to connect to another network (hotel, airport, coffee shop, etc.) and you would not know which channel these networks are using.  The wireless adapter will find them.   Steve
