wireless card making my computer do stupid stuff

Question

now mind you i spent $2100 on this thing and the only thing that I can say that is good about it is it can take a beating.  there is nothing in the world that makes me more mad than this thing.  and I am in the army so stupid stuff is a normal part of life.    now that I have that out of my system, I have a wireless card and whenever I put it in it says that there has been a major error on the system and has to purge memory.  then says some other stuff and I can't do anything.  now mind you my buddy was online almost all night with this thing and it didn't do a thing wrong.  if there is anything that you can suggest I would be more than happy   james

On the blue screen, there will be a file name towards the bottom in (  ) - that will be the offending software and indicate what is the problem for sure.  Sounds like a driver problem for the card.  Get the latest driver.

i thank you for your help.  don't worry I will be posting a bunch more, because this thing is a..... well let me just say that my 3 year old compaq is an angle compaired to that thing

he was next to me when it happened.  he was doing nothing out of the ordnary.  blue screen comes up as soon as you put the card in so I don't know what is happening and he didn't do i am fairly positive

Have your buddy show you what he did to have a successful session with the notebook.
