Wireless card not being recognized

Hello, I have an Inspiron 1200 and I do have a 802 b/g Wireless (1350 I think) card which did work at one time, but I had to reformat the hard drive due to various problems. I've downloaded a couple different drivers from the site and installed them, but in the Dell Wireless card utility it says there are no adapters found. My wireless card is set to on in the BIOS, and it did work at one time, but what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Did you install the chipset drivers as the first device drivers installed after reinstallation of Windows.  The chipset drivers are necessary before Windows can recognize or install drivers for many other devices.  Once the chipset drivers are installed, try installing the drivers for the wireless card as well as any other devices that now show up in Device Manager as problem devices.
