Wireless card?

Without my invoice, how do I find out if I have a wireless card?  I am SO not a technical person and could really use some help.  I just do dial up at home, but when I'm out of town, it'd be nice to go to a cafe and use by laptop.  I have an Inspiron 8500 if that is at all helpful.  Thanks so much for helping me!

Does the wireless card show up in Device Manager when you expand the listing for Network Adapters?  If you open Network Connections, does a wireless connection show up there?  If you open the MiniPCI slot door on the bottom of your computer, is there a MiniPCI wireless network adapter physically present?(see the following - http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins8500/en/8500/sm/upgrades.htm#1019173

The 1394 adapter is your firewire port.  It is not a wireless network adapter.  If it's not listed in Device Manager, then either it is not present or is disabled.  You will have to look in the MiniPCI slot door to know for sure.

Thank you for helping!  It shows 1394 Net Adapter enabled is that a yes?  I'm kind of scared to go unscrewing things on this to see if physically if I don't have to.  If that is a yes, can you instruct me on going to an internet cafe and using it.  (plain English would be most helpful to me :))
