Wireless connection dead - HELP PLEASE

Question

I have an Inspiron 5160 laptop with Wireless WLAN 1450 dual band .   Network has been running fine ( pc with Netgear DG834G router) with no problems until the other day.   The wireless network connection will now not connect at all.   I'm at a loss, any help appreciated.

Have you tried using the Fn F2 key combination which toggles the wireless radio on and off?   Steve

If you open network connections, is the wireless network listed there?  If so, does it say that it is disabled or enabled?  If it is disabled, right click and select 'Enable'.  If it is already enabled, right click the wireless connection and select 'View Available Wireless Networks'.  Does your wireless network (or any other wireless network for that matter) show up there?   Steve
