wireless connection stopped working
9 month old 600m, Intel 2200 and Dell 1350 mini pci, 802.11g network.
I have been able to run wireless since purchasing the system then all of a sudden could not find any wireless networks one day (used to find mine and usually at least 1 or 2 others). Originally had the Intel card then, thinking that maybe the card died, I bought the new Dell 1350 but still no networks. I can take a Belkin pci card from another computer and use in the external pci slot and it works fine. The system recognizes the mini pci cards and says they are working but system does not find any network. I've checked and re-checked settings on both cards even though I never touch them once up and running and I've verified the attenna connections to the cards. Hard wired connection works fine.
This all points me to something related to the antenna system in the computer (of course, I could be wrong). Has anyone heard of this having problems?
Any other ideas before I call Dell? Have 90 days left on warranty and want to get this resolved before it expires.
Thanks for any input!
