Wireless Connection with Windows Vista - HELP!!
Hi Can anyone help. I am in the UK and have a new Inspiron 530 running Windows Vista Home Basic. I have installed a PCI Wireless card and that is working correctly. I am trying to connect the PC to my BT Home Hub. It can find the Hub okay but it will not accept my security pass key. I have another PC connected wirelessly to the Hub and that works fine.
After 3 hrs on the phone to BT Helpdesk today they have told me it is a problem with my PC.
When I type in the security pass key I get the following message:
"The network security key provided does not match the network security key". I have the correct key but it just won't accept it. BT have confirmed there is no problem with my Home Hub.
So is there something within Vista I am not doing correctly? BT have accessed my PC remotely and their specialist cannot solve my problem. Any ideas please?
Thanks
Pete
