Wireless connection

How can I make my Latitude E6400 connect to my wireless system at start up and stay connected when switching users?

Hi Tim,

Please share the system model. In Microsoft operating system, only one user account can stay active and the other one goes to standby mode. If you switch users, there is an option to automatically connect the to the available wireless network.

  • Click on 'Start' and click on 'Control panel'.
  • Click on 'Network and Internet' and click on 'Network and Sharing Center'.
  • Click on your connected wireless network name.
  • Click on 'Wireless properties'.
  • Check 'Connect automatically when this network is in range' and click on 'Ok'
     
Note: The above steps are for Windows 7. In case you have a different operating system and do not find the above settings, please share your operating system.
