Wireless dial-up

I know there is a "Wireless" forum, but since Dell technicians don't answer questions in that forum, I brought it here...

I want to get the Inspiron 8600.  I wanted to get options for wireless access within my own home, using my existing dial-up connection.

1.   Is there a way to have wireless Internet access within one's home using a dial-up account rather than having to go DSL or broadband (or whatever)?  And if so, what options would I need to order for the 8600?

Thanks!

Hi! I have an 8500
with a True mobile wireless hardware. I was hoping to come up with a wireless/dialup connection that does not require another desktop running in a closet as an interface to my dial-up ISP.

There must be some clever person to rig up a wireless telephone/wireless modem that can plug into an available phone jack.

Another thing about wireless broadband that is seldom mentioned, is the fact that the service that you pay big bucks for cannot go on the road like dialup. The free WIFI's are few abd far between and you have to cough more money for the others.

I'm looking for easy wireless dialup.

you can get routers with built in modems or you could get an external dial up modem
