I would like to know the wireless card installed on the Windows 8 system so that I could check if it supports 5Ghz band. If you are not able to find the wireless card on the system, Please send me a private message with the computer's service tag. This is a brand new computer. Why would they send me that card when the computer I bought from dell 5 years ago supported 5Ghz. Do I have any recourse on this two day old computer?

Hi bucknyl,
Dell Inspiron 3521 is customized with the following single band (2.4GHz) cards.
We will not be able to replace the card with upgraded dual band WLAN card on the system.
