Wireless Driver Help
Hi, I just put a new IDE Hard Drive into my Dell inspiron 5160 and installed Windows XP with the disc that Dell Provided me. However, I was unable to loacte the dell driver disc after the installation of the Os. I went to dell's website to download all the drivers and was able to do so sussusfully untill I got to the Networking Drivers. I downloaded all the networking Drivers but I am still unable to connect to the internet Wirelessly. I checked the Device manager and under networking all that shows is the Broadcom Ethernet Controller, i know that there is supposed to be another driver such as Dell Wireless Utility. I tried installing that driver and still nothing shows in the device manager. Another thing, is that under all programs in the start menu, it shows that the Dell wirless Utility is installed and when i click on the program nothing shows up and the program dosent run. I need help getting wireless back on my laptop, is there anything that im doing wrong? Thank You.

Welcome to the fourms :emotion-21:
You need to identify which specific wireless card is in your laptop, then download/install the both the controller drivers, and the drivers for your specific card... both of which are found under the 'Network' heading on the Inspiron 5160 Drivers & Downloads' page.
