The OS no longer detects the wireless hardware.

well thankfully I was able to go on chat with a service tech...my wireless card was not being detected ...just as you stated...so the tech talked me through taking it out and cleaning out the connections and putting it back in....reseating it I think is what he called it...he was extremely helpful and it now works perfectly!
