Wireless Hibernation

Re Latitude D420 - Has anyone found a work-around that defeats the hibernation feature which turns off the internal wireless antenna when the cover is closed ???  I want to use my laptop in conjunction with a remote monitor....with the cover closed.  Currently my wireless performance is DRAMATICALLY impacted when the cover is closed. THANKS

What software are you using to control Wifi?

Performance is significantly reduced, not disabled.  When docked, with the cOver open the laptop works fine.

Does your card become completely disabled, or is its performance dramatically reduced?  And I'm curious... when you're docked, with the cover open, does the wireless card work fine?
