Wireless internet problem

Hi, I have the BT 1800HG hub and it is connected to a wireless 2wire usb in a different room.

Every so often the internet will just cut out, even though the adapter is still saying exc. connection.

 

The only thing to get internet working again is to reboot.

 

Im running it on windows 98, i have 2 other computers on the wireless network and they run xp and are fine...

 

Please help as its a real pain, PS i have removed all spyware etc
