Wireless internet
My wireless is connected, but I get page cannot be displayed when I go to the internet. I have all the correct wireless settings, IP address, etc. I have tried to connect by ethernet and then internet works fine. I have done a million different troubleshooting steps. I have other computers using the same router and they all work fine. The laptop that is not connecting is an Inspiron 1501 and it is windows Vista. My internet suport it must be in my Laptop. ???:emotion-18: Help

malele94,
Is the wireless router using Mac address filtering?
When connected, try running an ipconfig /all log and post the results back here.

I have a similar problem with an Inspiron 1700R laptop. The only time I have noticed the "page cannot be displayed" is when I try to sign on to my https://Comcast.com user accounts (also includes sign in for all https for xfinity and comcast.net). All other websites seem to work. The reason this matters to me is I need to be able to sign in to Comcast's Xfinity to use their On Demand stuff, and I want to be able to vconnect my laptop to my TV to play the shows...
At first I thought the Comcast website was down, but I was able to sign in via my Acer laptop. Both laptops are running Windows 7, and have the exact same Norton security settings. The very strange thing is that I have restarted my Dell wireless card and it will connect briefly (~1min) to https://Comcast.com . I am able to connect fine to other https websites, so this problem is very strange. The next thing I will try is a wired connection to my router... but that does not solve my problem of using Xfinity since the router is upstairs and the TV is not... Luckily I have the Acer laptop, to know that this is a problem with my Dell laptop.
Anyrate, my problem could be closely associated to yours.

Moon991199,
Can you try running the Finding System Information Tool (preferred)Or hit the Windows Key and the R keys at the same time. Type
systeminfo.txt REMOVE THE PRODUCT ID and post the rest of the information back here.
or an ipconfig /all log and maybe it will reveal something.
