Which make and model "wireless" printer do you have? Are you saying that the printer cannot find the router? Do you have security enabled on the router? Do you have MAC Address filtering enabled on the router?
Printer is Lexmark X4580 yes I called lexmark and it sees the dell wireless but not the router (belkin) according to tech. Sorry don't know the answer to the other two questions or how to find out.
Whoever set up the router would (or should) know the answers to the questions of security and MAC Address Filtering. Also, is the router broadcasting its SSID? Again whoever set up the router would know this because they would have had to change the settings.
