Wireless light
HELP! I have an Inspiron 9300 and after a virus ruined everything I had to reinstall Windowa XP. For some reason the WIFI indicator light (activiated using FN-F2) doesn't come on anymore. Can anyone advise. Do I need to download a driver that I may have lost during the reinstall?
Thanks

Stevieh70, Be sure to check the BIOS to make sure wifi is enabled...tap F2 on startup and locate the BIOS settings to be sure wireless is enabled. Be sure to save the new settings as well when exiting.
Also: Go to the Dell support site and enter your service tag and download the Dell Quick set app. this will be sure the Fn - F2 key sequence will work since you don't have an hardware switch. Don't forget to download and install the drivers for wireless too.
