Wireless Network Adapter Problemsll

Question

I recently had to have my LED screen and keypad re-installed. Imediately afterwards, when I turned on my computer my wireless network icon was gone. I checked my device manager and I don't have a wireless adapter. I found the orginal Intel wireless manager and it gives me this error:   Unable to detect a supported wireless adapter. Install a supported adapter.     Where is it? what is it?

It makes it more difficult to help solve the problem without knowing which model computer and which network adapter you have.   If it has an internal Mini PCI card wireless network adapter, have you checked to see if it has become unseated in its slot due to the jostling it probably took when replacing the screen and keypad?
