Please explain.  Is the router requesting a password to enter the router's configuration page or is it requesting a password that you set up for WEP or WPA encryption?  The default router password (to enter into the configuration page is probably admin (you can easily find out by reading the user guide that came with the router).  If it is asking for the WEP or WPA password or key, then only you would know that because you would have to have set them up when you configured the router.
