Wireless Network not recognized after new install

I have a Studio 1569 on which I had to reinstall windows. Afterwards I can't get the wireless network up. I've tried reinstalling the drivers in the suggested order twice now and still the network controller is not recognized. Anyone know a fix for this situation

Jaell,

When you reinstalled the operating system, did you install the Dell System Software(if applicable) and the chipset drivers first? If not, the rest of the drivers will fail to install. How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Start with the Dell System Software and the chipset drivers and follow the list.

Thanks, I retried this but no joy. Do I need to uninstall the existing drivers?

Of note I looked in the Device Manager and a Network Controller is showing up as a device with an unknown manufacturer. There is a second device showing up as an unknown device as well.

Jaell,

Download and install in this exact order...

Dell System Software Utility

Intel Mobile Chipset, PM45 Express Chipset Family, GM45 Express Chipset Family, (R) Mobile Chipset, PM55 Express Chipset Family, Cantiga Chipset, HM57 Express Chipset Family, HM55 Express Chipset Family, v.9.1.1.1020, A02

Then download and install...
Go to Dell Warranty Status enter your service tag, click on original configuration. Find out which wireless adapter is installed. Then go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag, select your operating system. Under network, download and install the drivers for your wireless adapter.
Then download and install Dell QuickSet, v.10.6.2, A04
This will get you online to download any other drivers needed.
