Wireless Network Problem

I'm running an Inspiron 1505 with Vista Home Premium.  The only way it will connect to my home wireless network is if SSID broadcasting is enabled on the router.  For security, I prefer no broadcasting, but if I do, I cannot connect.  Any ideas?

I have never used Vista, but I do read the messages in this forum.  Repeatedly it has been stated that if SSID broadcast is disabled, then the only way to make it work in Vista is to set up a profile.  How you do this has been covered by the other messages on this same topic.  Spend 5 or 10 minutes reading the previous messages on the forum  - perhaps you will find the time spent to be worthwhile.

In order to have Vista see a non broadcast network you must make sure the profile is set up correctly. You should set up the profile manually and checked the following boxes:

a.       Start this connection Manually

b.      Connect even if the network is not broadcasting
