Wireless network won't connect

I had to reinstall Windows since my hard drive died in my Inspiron 5160 and ever since I can't get my wireless network card to work at all. I downloaded both drivers for the Dell Wireless 1350 wireless card and nothing works. It seems to connect to the network but just says "Associated" and not "Connected" like it used to. And when I try to browse a page nothing comes up at all, same thing with trying to ping out, it's just like nothing is ever connected. Thanks in advance.

My network card is listed as 463-3361 Dell Wireless 1350 (802.11 b/g) Internal Wireless on my invoice. I see there are really three different drivers to try. But I don't know what to do now, I'm stuck.

Did you install the chipset drivers as the first drivers installed after reinstallation of Windows?  If not, you can download the chipset drivers from:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R58370&SystemID=INS_PNT_P4_5160&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=1134&devlib=0&typecnt=1&vercnt=1&formatcnt=1&fileid=70519

The chipset drivers must be installed before Windows can recognize or correctly install drivers for many other devices.

The correct drivers for the 1350 card, assuming you reside in the U.S. are at:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R102320&SystemID=INS_PNT_P4_5160&os=WW1&osl=en&deviceid=8041&devlib=0&typecnt=1&vercnt=4&formatcnt=1&fileid=132284

I was going to try that and when it was installing it kept asking for the Windows CD which I inconviently left at my dorm so I'll have to try it when I go back. I can connect to my neighbors wifi but not my own nor my campus wifi. It just doesn't make any sense and is driving me crazy.
