Is there anyway to remove a network that you really messed up on when you set it up so you can start over?

Need more information to help...

How is it messed up? What kind of router? Any other Info you think that may be helpful.

If it's a configuration issue, you can usually just change the profile on the PC as well as the router settings.

I'm networking my Dell desktop and 2 laptops. 1 Sony Viao and 1 Gateway.  The router is attached to my Dell. I have a high speed cable modem (Motorola SB5100)

It's a Wireless router. (d-link DI-524 AirPlus G). None of my workgroup names match.  I don't know what I did wrong and can't figure out how to change it except to remove the network and start over.  The microsoft help files are of no use  at all (as usual)

I appreciate any help you can give me.
