- How do I correct connection problems on the TrueMobile 2300 wireless router?
A possible solution to network connectivity problems when using a TrueMobile 2300 wireless router is to change the default channel on the router. Association problems, slow network speed, and difficulty connecting to the network, can be caused by network interference. This interference can come from microwaves, cellular phone towers, or other wireless access points in the area. To prevent these devices from interfering with your wireless network, perform the steps below to change the channel on the TrueMobile 2300.
Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher or Netscape 4.0 or higher must be used for the web-based configuration tool.
- Click the [Start] button, and then click [Run].
- Type the following text in the Open box:
http://my.router ( - If this is the first time configuring your TrueMobile 2300, or if the user name and password have not been changed, type admin in the User Name and Password fields.) - Click the [OK] button.
The Configuration screen appears. - Click the [Basic Settings] button.
- Click the [Wireless Settings] button.
The Wireless Settings screen appears. - Select a new channel from the drop-down list.
- Click the [Save & Apply] button.
