What do you mean when you say you have "reset" your router? Did you reset it to the default conditions or just turn it off and then on?
Can you see your router from any of the computers trying to connect by wireless? Are any of these computers getting an IP address from the router?
If none of the wireless computers can connect to the router by wireless after a reset to the defaulat conditions, and if these computers can connect at free hotspots away from the router, it suggests a bad router, or at least a faulty wireless cuircut in the router.
I have had good luck with wireless routers from Linksys and Netgear. You just need a standard 802.11g 54 Mpbs router. Those hyped as higher speed will not improve your internet connection speed, as it is controlled by your ISP and I know of no ISPs that offer speeds even close to 54 Mbps.

Thanks for the response. Do you have any suggestions as to brand of router?
