WIRELESS NOT WORKING :(

Wow, I love how when you call Dell and ask a few questions after waiting on hold they say they will not help you in any way if it's associated with wireless. Great support...

Anyways,
My laptop has wireless built into it. I can connect to wireless in many places on my campus. The name of the Wireless Network always appears the same "uogwifi". However, there are some areas where my wireless detects "uogwifi" except it's an "Unsecured computer-to-computer network". I tried connecting to it, and it did connect, with excellent signal, but the internet did not work when I tried to open a browser. HOWEVER...everyone else around me who had a laptop could connect to this network, and get internet service. I tried multiple times in different days, and my peers can connect the exact same way I do, but theirs gives them internet access, and my does not. Why is this? How can I get my laptop to be able to connect to the internet as well?I'm assuming it's some sort of setting that got changed at some point, because everyone but me can get internet access via this computer-to-computer network.

 Please help!

Thanks,
Marko

If you can connect to other wireless networks, you may need to direct this issue to your campus IT administrator - the network could be restricting your access.

Did you try to connect without any firewalls running. That is if you have a firewall, sometimes this can be an issue.
