Wireless Problem
I have a Inspiron 6000 less then a month old, I must have got a virus, it locked up on me and had to call Dell Support last night. They had me do a system restore and then had me go through start and run and type something I can't remember and the disabled eveything that was not Micorsoft and told me to get a new Virus Scan. Here is my problem, because everything was disabled my Wireless will now not work. Do anyone know what it would have been that I typed in to get the the programs that were disabled. I need to be able to get back on the internet to down load the virus scan I bought.
Thanks

Perhaps you need to use an ethernet connection until your wireless is restored. I would suggest you download the latest drivers for your wireless device and see if restoring the drivers will restore the function.

I used my home computer to post the question. Can someone help me with the process to download the drivers?
Sorry, I am pretty new at this...
Thanks

The Intel cards have a lot of issues. You probably won't be happy with it even if you get it to work. I have one too. Don't use it because it can't maintain a consistent connection.
