Wireless Problems

I have an Inspiron 600m, running on Windows XP Home Edition, with an Intel(R) Pro/Wireless 2200BG Network Connection.
When connected to the wireless internet the status box indicates that I am connected, with excellent signal strength, however I cannot access any internet pages.  I run the "Diagnose Connection Problems" and it says that HTTP snd HTTPS timed out (Error 12002), and could not make an HTTP or HTTPS connections.
How can I fix this?  Any suggestions are appreciated.

To help troubleshoot this problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.
