yes you can connect another wireless router to your existing one but you will run into issues configuring them. if you only concern is to extend the range of your wireless network then antennae or signal boosters are what i would suggest You might consider the Hawking [HSB2] Hi-Gain WiFi Signal Booster, which can be used on either end of a wireless connection to boost the signal power. Another way to increase your signal strength is by the use of hi-gain antennas. You may be able to use a directional antenna with a lot more gain, the Hawking [HAI15SC] Hi-Gain 15dBi Corner Antenna is a good one
