Wireless Security

I have a Dimension 4600 C using Broadband access and is connected to a wireless router (Netgear). I also have a wireless Inspiron D1505 which shares my broadband access wirelessly.

I have installed Wireless Security software on the laptop (McAfee), do I need to install wireless security software on the Dimension as well?

I have all of the necessary firewall, virus, software, etc. installed on both computers (with the exception of Wireless Security).

See your router's manual about setting up security for your wireless network. Generally speaking most use their router's web configuration tool to change the default name of their wireless network, set their encryption(WEP or WPA), mac address filtering, not broadcasting your SSID etc.
