Wireless stops working when new chipset installed
Hello, I have an Alienware M17x, and my wireless does not connect when ever I install the Nvidia MCP79 chipset driver. Can some help me? Is there something I need to configure? I troubleshot it down to this driver since my wireless works before I install this driver and stops working after I install it.

1. Uninstall the wireless driver.
2. Go to the device manager.
3. Uninstall the network and wireless card (making sure to select "remove driver")
4. Restart the computer
5.Again restart the notebook and reinstall the drivers
it should work now
Thanks

I did what you stated above, and It worked or so I thought. It worked after I uninstalled and reinstalled but when I went to restart the computer again it did the same thing. So the only way I can connect to the wireless is to uninstall and reinstall the driver every time I shut down the computer. What is wrong with it?
