Make sure both utilities are consistently set to do what you want to do.  While Windows is managing the wireless network, open Network Connections, right click your wireless connection and select Properties.  Then click on the Wireless Network tab and remove the check mark next to "Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings."  OK your way out, then open the Intel Proset Utility and check the box to let the utility manage your networks (I don't know the exact wording since I don't have the Intel card).

Steve,
Just solved my issue by doing what you said a few days ago.  Dell Quickset then recognized my network and asked me if I wanted to set up a profile and I did and now works great.
However, everytime I turn on my laptop, in order to get connection, I must go into quickset and go to profiles to turn profile on.  Can this be set to automatically  be on when i turn my lap top on?

Thanks, inadvance,
Mike
