Wireless working, cannot get online
My wireless issue is similar to ktownpd's. What happened here is the laptop got a virus/malware that I was able to get rid of with Malwarebyte's Anti-malware. Been downhill ever since. My router is working, the computer shows I am connected. But when I click on IE to get on the internet, the page says Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. Very frustrating to say the least!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Did anyone help you remove the malware, if so, how about the link.
Insert the disk and stop the disk from running. Start, all programs, accessories, right click on the command prompt, left click run as administrator. Type
sfc /scannow (space between the c and /)
This will replace any Windows files that were messed up by the malware.
