wirless capability

Hello All!!!

Ok here is my best to describe what is happening.  I have a full strength wireless connection, however I did something and now i can't connect my laptop to the Internet.  I have an inspiron N7110.  When I troubleshoot I get a message that says " Use the switch on the front or side of the computer, or function keys it available, to enable wireless capability on this computer.  In reading about similar issues on other insprions, I made sure the lil antenna (F2) key is on.  this didn't work. :(

So then I went to the the Intel My wifi technology and it says it is "disabled because the Hardware Radio Switch is off.  So I found the Hardware Radion Switch in the task bar and when I right click on it and it doesn't have anything highlighted that I can click on....everything is faded

please help so I can get reconnected!!!
