WLAN Card

I have a dell inspirion 1420 and i have had it a month and half and I keep getting an error message Dell wireless WLAN Card wireless network controller stopped working and was closed. A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. windows will notify you if a solution is available. I called dell and because the error was not on my computer at the time that I called they said they could not help me with the issue.
