WLAN error message
New poster here!
I am constantly getting the following error message on my vostro 1700:
Dell Wireless WLAN Card Wireless Network Controller stopped working and was closed.
A problem caused the application to stop working correctly.
Windows will notify you if a solution is available.
However, I don't lose my wireless, I am still connected to whatever network I am currently connected to (home or work.) Therefore, I'm not too concerned--but wonder why I get the message, and if I should be concerned.

It sounds like Windows has gotten confused. Try open the Dell wireless utility and unchecking the box next to "Let this Utility manage my wireless connections".
