Look in the thread below yours and click on a post by jimw - in his sig are links to helpful networking info to help you solve your problem.

I found a discussion thread that describes this problem exactly. The first poster suggests that the problem began after installing certain updates for XP Service Pack 1. Unfortunately, what updates were installed isn't described, and there's no report that the problem was resolved.

Here's the thread, for what it's worth. The site is very slow to load! A thread referenced in one of the postings at pcbanter.net contains several posts with slightly varying symptoms, but again no resolution.

Thanks for the help Jim,

Unfortunately, (like you said) I see no solution.  Act says not there problem and MS says not there's.  Now the question is, "how does one find the solution or fix?".

Thanks

Beeker

I belive that you are not selecting the option to "Reconnect on startup" When you mapped the folder there should be a checkbox for that. Make sure its checked.. Hope that works  Elliott

Beeker,

Thank you for providing the link to the additional information.

The problem is that the link to the file or information is incorrect.  You should consider recreating the link.
