XPI CD Problem with network card

Question

I have a Lattitude XPi CC 166. I am having trouble with my PCMCIA network card. I had it working fine and then I tried to use a wireless card and could not get it to work. Now the wired network card does not work either. During bootup the light on the dongle comes on so it appears to be ok and when I check in the device manager it says it is operating ok but I get no connection. Did I srew up something trying to get the wireless card to work. The network card is a 3COM. Thanks for any ideas.

Did you try to 'uninstall' if from device manager? Then try to install it without ever removing the card....     ES
