Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your network adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.
Thanks for the reply, but no luck with that.....here are my advanced settings for the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235, are these correct is there anything I need to change?
802.11n Channel width for band 2 = Auto
802.11n Channel width for band 5 = Auto
802.11n Mode = Enabled
Ad Hoc Channel 802.11b/g = 6
Ad Hoc QoS Mode = WMM Enabled
ARP offload for WoWLAN = Enabled
Bluetooth AMP = EnabledFat Channel Intolerant = Disabled
I use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11 on my home network. If you need to change anyhting, I would make a new SSID to make connecting easier.
