Try these tweaks....

Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your network adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.




Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.

 Thanks for the reply, but no luck with that.....here are my advanced settings for the Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6235, are these correct is there anything I need to change?

802.11n Channel width for band 2 = Auto

802.11n Channel width for band 5 = Auto

802.11n Mode = Enabled

Ad Hoc Channel 802.11b/g = 6

Ad Hoc QoS Mode = WMM Enabled

ARP offload for WoWLAN = Enabled

Bluetooth AMP = EnabledFat Channel Intolerant = Disabled

GTK rekeying for WoWLAN = Enabled

Mixed Mode Protection = RTS/CTS Enabled

NS oddload for WoWLAN = Enabled

Preffered Band = No Preference

Roaming Aggressiveness = Medium

Sleep on WoWLAN Disconnect = Disabled

Transmit Power = Highest

Wake on Magic Packet = Enabled

Wake on Pattern Match = Enabled

Wireless mode = 802.11a/b/g

Sorry for the delay, Black Friday is coming and I work for a local newspaper.

Here are My setting for the Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 AGN adapter They should be almost similar.

I use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11 on my home network. If you need to change anyhting, I would make a new SSID to make connecting easier.
