XPS internal wireless network card

i just purchased a dell xps laptop and have been using a pcmcia card for wirless access.  I want to get an internal card, i believe the xps supports that right?  What card is recommeneded (make, model, etc..)? I have a Lynksis wireless g router. Also, putting in an internal card, will that have any impact on anything else, do i loose a slot for other upgrades, etc...

I am looking for a good card, that will get just as well of reception as the current pcmcia card i use, hopefully thats possible.  thanks.
