xps l502x bluetooth problem !!!
plz help me i cant access my bluetooth head set frm my xps l502x its gt a yellow exclamatory mark under headset icon :(

Did you order your XPS with Blue tooth? What is your system configuration as reported by Dell Support Center (Stsrt/Dell Support Center) Detailed System Information? If you have Blue tooth installed it should be under communication I believe. You have to have Bluetooth on your PC as well as the appropriate drivers.

Not the headset. One would think that any bluetooth device should connect to the XPS 15 laptop that has bluetooth available. It appears yours has a Bluetooth adaptor. You can go to Dell web site and check your PC configuration. When you enter your service code there, it will tell you the "original" configuration based on your order. In that list it should say Bluetooth some where and have a part number listed or it will be part of the 19 in one media adaptor with bluetooth. You need to be sure you have the driver installed and that you have the latest driver version.
There is a proceedure for "pairing" the bluetooth devices. Some bluetooth headsets will only work with one device at a time. If your headset is paired to your mobile phone, you may have to unpair it from your phone and pair it to the laptop. Some head sets can be paired to more than one device.
Check your headset manual and follow their pairing method.
Search on Dell for more about bluetooth.

Places to look to see if your bluetooth Connection is enabled
Start, in search, type
bttray
click on it. This will put the bluetooth icon in the system tray, near the clock. It can be enabled/disabled there.
Also run the Finding System Information Tool and post the information back here. This will give us a better idea of what is installed.

hey i hav another problem with ma lap that is i cant access the two touch buttons
the instant access button and the button related to sound plz help me ...........
i recently changd ma laps speakers from dell service because the old one got some kind of jarring sound coming from
it when i saw movies ..............
so plz plz help me wth ds also ....

hey aftr running that system info.exe file it shows the file systeminfo.txt is saved at "c:/systeminfo.txt" bt i couldn't find ne such files there :(
but i got my system information from dell support centre software here it is .....

Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then click on applications and download and install Dell Quickset.
Start, computer, click on C
systeminfo ahould be located there. Open it and copy to the thread. The information about the bluetooth is very vague with the information from the Dell Support Center.
