Question

Not a problem as much as it is an anoiance, Every so often i have to press fn f2 to disable wireless and turn it back on to make the wifi light come on on the top panel of my computer.. is this just a little bug. I still have wifi, it's just that the light sometimes is off bluetooth light is always on, just a little nusance that i thought someone else has had... Thanks Keith

its a known problem with the intel card. u must have the 2200 series card in your system. What i did to stop this was use microsoft client to run the card. I dont use intels pro software. i bought a linksys wrt54gs router with larger antennas on them. the antennas r extra money. i think 40 bucks at amazon.com. the antenna give u better reception and longer power range. its been a yr and havent lost a connection or drop in connection yet. wifi light is always on. this is on my i9300 lappy

I have the same problem, but on a 3com router/adslmodem it drops my wifi connection when the wifi light goes off.. It's very annoying because it happens only with some router models.
Any clue? Is there a patch to solve this problem?
