yet another 2200bg problem
ok so i've read all about the "transmit power bug" but unfortunately when i manually set the transmit power to the highest it STILL doesnt work with my network. It drops to 1.0 Mbps and it's very annoying. What I did to install the new driver was i just ran setupwld.exe and im running itwithout the proset software...i really doubt calling dell will help the problem...any suggestions? i would AT LEAST like to get it to the point where i manually have to set it to high every time i reboot.

The Transmit Power problem seems to be more pronounced in the 802.11b mode, the connection speed issue seems to be more pronounced in the 802.11g mode.
I don't know any solution for the connection speed issue but to restart the device. Any time mine drops to 1 mbs, the transfer of information stops.
Intel really seems set on saving power. If you don't connect and don't transmit information, you don't expend much power.
