Are you using Interent Explorer or Firefox?  There have been issues with Firefox but I don't know if it's pasting.

BTW, when posting we usually only need the PC Model Number and Operating System.  And, if it's a particular problem such as an audio problem then we need to know the type of sound card (or integrated audio).  Listing everything in the PC is not needed.

I was able to insert this jpg by clicking on the "insert media" icon (two icons to the LEFT of the Smiley face) and then upload it from my PC.

I captured that from my desktop using the Windows 7 "clipping tool".

Another way to do it, is to upload the image to a (free) image hosting website - i.e. PhotoBucket, then simply copy/paste the IMG link they provide (directly under the image) into the forums :emotion-55:

When I click on the 'insert media' icon it asks for the media and I am not sure what it is asking for, that is, what media am I suppose to use. I think I need step by step instructions as to how to do this. I am not using windows 7 so not sure what the clipping tool is, but is there a way to accomplish this with windows vista. I am not sure what you mean when you say you captured that from your desktop. I have tried a number of things but not able to accomplish a paste.

HERE is instructions on using the Clipping Tool in Vista.  You can capture whatever you want from the screen and then save it as a jpg file.

Then follow the instructions I noted where I pasted a sample on the forum (basically uploading the captured picture to the forum).

:emotion-1:  Great, got it working.  I have to admit I had to figure it out myself before telling you. As long as I've been on the forum, I've never had to paste anything on the forum.
