Hard Drive Problems
Two years a go I purchased a DELL Laptop. I looked around a decided Dell had one of the best. Now after just two years I am getting a error report that my hard drive is bad a nd should be replaced. REALLY? ! Isn't this a little soon for this problem. I have no idea where to even start with this issue. I feel like I was taken for what I Paid and the limited time it lasted. Believe me DELL is off my list for next purchase.

Hardware - FROM ANY VENDOR - can fail at any time. If devices never failed there would not be any need for warranties/extended warranties or computer techs to fix them.
How the drive was used, how the PC has been handled, how it has been protected from overheating, etc - although nothing intentionally by the owner - can contribute to failure.
If you would have purchased another brand - HP, Lenovo, Acer, Gateway, Apple or whatever you could have the same problem.
