HELP WITH UPDATES!!

So I just got my new Studio XPS 1340 laptop last week and I'm loving it. However, I heard there was a BIOS update to help with the severe heating issues, not to mention whatever other things I'd like to download. However, every time I try on the Drivers & Downloads menu, it starts loading real slow then a popup says "425 can't open data connection" and therefore fails. I've tried disabling my popups, tried on several different occassions, with different internet connections, and still the same error message. I am using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, if this is an internet issue not something else...I have no idea, though, and I can't update anything from this site to my laptop because of this.

Would appreciate any help. Thank you.

This is what Dell lists as the "Fixes and Enhancements" - 1. Fix UUT resume problem. 2. Fix S3 resume problem when WOL enable.
3. Fix HDD spin problem when power down by power button during post..

HERE is the direct link to the BIOS update.  If it doesn't work with FF, try I.E. browser.

Keep in mind with BIOS updates, follow the installations exactly and do not have other programs running (e.g. browser, e-mail, wordprocessing, etc).  A failed BIOS update with a corrupted BIOS and the only recourse is to replace the motherboard.
