How to Cancel an Order?

I need to cancel my order and there is no information on the Dell Customer Service webpage, and though their webpage says Customer Service hours are Mon.- Sun. 8am - 9pm CT, I keep either getting a message that they are closed or my call is transferred & hung-up.  It really seems like Dell is preventing customers from being able to cancel orders - which though it might be good for their business, it's a very bad customer experience and will make me question buying from Dell again.

So how can I cancel an order?  I've read that if you don't do it ASAP, then they might not let you cancel it, and instead you have to return it with restocking fees.  Well, I tried to cancel my order almost immediately and after a couple of hours I'm still not successful.

I have a delayed order again today. I ordered it on May 05, and original delivery date is May 21. But today I found it is changed to May 29! I found something wrong in Dell. I have used Dell in last 8 years and ordered so many desktop computer, desktop computers, and other stuff and this is the first time they delayed. Dell should investigate it.

For me I have to cancel it if it delay so many days because I could not wait for so long time. I just called customer service and the guy told me he will try to make it on time. Hopefully they can deliver it on time. Otherwise I have to cancel it.

What number did you call to cancel? I've called the customer service number and was sent to 877-868-3355, which is only a voice mailbox.  Do you have a specific person's extension I could dial directly?
