The Windows Media Player will play MP3's. There are other free media players such as WinAmp and iTunes that have built in MP3 playing capabilities.
What Model PC? (this needs to be on any initial problem post - in most cases we can't help you without that). did it come with Vista or did it come with some other OS and you installed Vista?
