Ordering problems resolved.
I have had a discussion with the consultant handling my order and we came across a solution to hiccups in supply that have twice delayed the manufacturing of my machine.
It turns out that there are pre-assembled "fast track" machines being held in various Dell warehouses that have identical hardware to the machine I ordered so I changed my order to one of these and it is being shipped.
So this may be a solution for this problem for some of you if you ordered a machine that is identical to a "fast track" machine.

Was there any additional charges by Dell, for using 'Fast Track' shipping?

No, there was no price difference, I originally ordered this laptop and I changed my order to this laptop.

Hi Washu,
Thanks for the happy story. We tend to get only the complaints here. It's nice to know that Dell CS is willing to work with a customer.

That's great to hear, especially about not having to pay anything additional. :emotion-21: :emotion-11:
Enjoy your new laptop.

The courier delivered my laptop today.
I am quite pleased with the laptop now as I have had a chance to check it out and play world of warcraft. The game ran as smooth as silk and gave me absolutely no problems at all.
So all in all it was worth the wait.
